Girls Empowerment Through Beauty Skills
Our Braiding & Cosmetology Program is part of Young & Empowered's Girls Empowerment initiative, serving 59 girls annually. We empower young women through professional beauty skills training, mentorship, counseling, role modeling, and social entrepreneurship education to help them achieve economic independence.
Students master professional braiding techniques, hair care, makeup artistry, client consultation, and salon management. Our holistic approach combines technical skills training with business education, life skills development, and mentorship to help young women launch successful beauty businesses in Lunzu, Blantyre.
Weekly Training Schedule
Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM
